Conference Kite Day (March)

What is it?

The annual conference-sponsored Kite Day provides an opportunity for all the Pathfinder clubs to come together to fly kites they have made. Pathfinders, Teens, staff, and clubs compete for prizes, according to their ages or group and kite category, as well as just flying kites for fun.

The theme this year is Birds.

Who’s invited?

Calimesa Pathfinders and Adventurers and their families and friends. Church members are also invited to participate in the fun! (Only Pathfinders, Teens and Staff who are wearing their Class C (yellow or grey) uniform shirts are allowed to compete.)

When and where?

Kite Day is held on the first Sunday in March at San Diego Mission Bay, Mariner’s Point. Opening Exercises start at 9:45, so be sure you are there before then! Closing ceremonies are at 3:45 pm.

The club does not provide transportation, as this is considered a family event. If individual Pathfinders need a ride, they will need to let the Director know so we can plan for that.
